Jump & Style 2nd day Wustrow ? EFPT Germany Kevin Mevissen (JP/NP) und Tonky Frans aus Bonnaire fight for the windsurf Jump & Style title at Ostseebad Wustrow Since two days the Ostseebad Wustrow shows its best conditions for the Jump & Style Contest which is held as a tour stopp of 2004 European Freestyle Pro Tour. As on the first day dutch co-favourite Kevin Mevissen (JP/NP) wins both single eliminations, Tonky Frans (F2) from Bonnaire took the victory in the third elimination of this event. Beside of all the new school freestyle action, the riders showed waverides, push- and backloops as well. At the fourth elimination of this event, both favourites had to fight against italien riders Andrea Rosati (RRD / NP) and Matteo Guazzoni (RRD) in their semi-finals. Both italiens are very experienced in wave conditions too so it was a very hard battle between Tonky (F2) and Andrea Rosati (RRD /JP) and Matteo Guazzoni (RRD) against Kevin Mevissen (JP/NP). But again the number of moves on the one hand as well as the difficulty of the moves showed on the other hand again showed Kevin (JP/NP) against Tonky (F2) in the finals. At this 4th and so far last final of this event again Kevin pulled out the more difficulty and fluently shown moves of the day, which took him into first position again. The best local guy Oskar Hollmann (Fanatic / North Sails) ended up at the 11 position, which is a very good ranking keeping in mind the high quality of the riders registered for this event. Best german rider at the end of the 2nd day is Norman Günzlein (JP/NP) who finished on rank 5 for the moment. As the watherforcast looks very promising also for Saturday another 2 eliminations are scheduled. So everything is possible as the level of all the top guys is very close. fotos/text: EFPT
