PWA Surf Worldcup 2006:
In winter call the mountains, in summer tempt the sea but amongst them, in the end of April, lures the Neusiedler See

If you’re thinking of the first spring-like sunrays and cannot await the warm season, then you should write down this ten days from April, the 28th until May, the 7th of 2006 in red letters. The reason is the PWA Surf Worldcup in Podersdorf at the Neusiedler See as the event-highlight.
The officiating freestyle world champion and surf professionals from everywhere in the world enter this contest! The participation of the triple-worldmaster in the discpline Men’s Freestyle Ricardo Campello is the joyful highlight of the PWA Surf Worldcups 2006. The star of the PWA (Professional Windsurfers Association) is a contrivancer of extremly exercises. He knows his surfboard perfectly and he permanent sets a unbelievable high standard. Austrian names are also present: Michael Roßmeier (T), Tom Hartmann (W) and self evidently the winner of the Surf Worldcups 2003 Chris Sammer (ST)! You can follow the competition from the „Podersdorfer Beach“ wonderfully. It is the only possibility to be very close watching the surfers with their risked moves and their highest loops.
There’s no guarantee for wind, but there are guarantees for having a lot of fun! Although in April/May prevails good wind power, exists no surety, that the wind persists! When the lake stays still, there’s no possibility to surf. In this case the PWA Surf Worldcup 2006 nevertheless would be boring! You can experience fun and action on the ground and you can take part in every form of trend-sport you prefer, like kite-surfing, footbag, footvolley, paintball and last but not least beachvolleyball.
A variegate mixture of festival and party will entertain you!
Holiday-feelings, music and hot parties. What more could one want? The homey musicscene is multi-layered present at the ZIPFER Seaside Festival. A mixture of Rock, Ska, Reggae, Rockpop and Hip Hop is waiting to you. Bands like Tyler, 3 feet smaller, Mauracher, etc. The Partyweek 2006 starts on both weekends and therefore it’s the ideal meeting place for all reveller.The night will be never-ending…
