The 2005 Catalunya Costa Brava
PWA Super X World Cup ? Registration day
With registration out of the way, the fleet is ready for some heavy duty Super X action. Judging by the entry list, leader of the pack Matt Pritchard (US-10, Tabou/Gaastra) is going to have a hard time holding onto the top slot of the ranking. Taking first prize in Catalunya last year and second place earlier this year in Leucate, Frenchman Cyril Moussilmani (F-71, Fanatic) will surely be going for gold this time. Undoubtedly he can already feel the number three on the ranking list, UK?s Robby Swift (K-89, JP/Neil Pryde) breathing down his neck.

Other challengers for the crown are Norwegian Spaniard Vidar Jensen (N-44, North), USA?s Kevin Pritchard (US-3, Starboard/MauiSails), British veteran Nik Baker (K-66, Mistral/North), his fellow countryman John Skye (K-57, F2), Frenchman Julien Taboulet (F-100, JP/Neil Pryde), Holland?s Peter Volwater (H-24, F2) and the leading wave champion Josh Angulo (US-11) all having a go at getting their names engraved on the 2005 Super X trophy.
The forecast for tomorrow morning is looking promising, predicting some strong Tramontana winds. Therefore, the first skippers? meeting has been moved from today to 08:30 tomorrow with a first possible start at 09:00. So sit tight and stay logged onto PWA WORLDTOUR for the latest news, images and results from the bay of Roses, Spain.
