With the Open Men slated for the first day of competion the sailors were eager with anticipation as the conditions improved steadily.
With a full braket of 64 Open Men, the competition ran like a freight train with the judges counting the best three waves in the 12 minute heats. Starting promptly at 11am it was finally at 5pm that the final heat of the 2nd round was competed.
After the long battels of the day the remaining sailors in round three of the Open Men include:
Andres Martinez
Skyler Haywood
Jeff Sutherland
Pedro Loureiro
Francisco Fonseca
Kai Lenny
Josh Stone
Kevin Ponichtera
Takaharu Kamahuchi
Juban Camille
Graham Ezzy

This list however does not include the few eliminated sailors who will still qualify for the wildcards by point score because of the already seeded pro sailors competing aloong side them in the open men. This division will be concluded on Wednesday, but stay tuned for tomorrows action with Masters Men, and Open Women. Wildcard winners will be announced by Friday, November 10.
