The Stimorol Engadinwind is the topmost situated event which takes place during 10 days. The world's best Windsurfers are travelling from all over the world to participate at this unique water sport event. The natural surroundings and the coulisse of snow-covered mountains guarantee an unforgettable atmosphere for the participants. The event offers as well action on the water, as at the parties and side events taking place on the event site.

The EFPT European Freestyle Pro Tour is the world's biggest tour in the Freestyle discipline. The tour stop in Switzerland belongs to the most important and brings the world's best Freestylers to Silvaplana.

In occasion of the EFPT the most radical freestyle moves and turns are celebrated from athletes such as Normen Günzlein GER (World Champion 2005) or Mateo Guazzoni ITA (European Champion 2004).

The suspense will be perfect: the three freestylers Andre Paskowski GER, Andreas Olanderson SWE and Normen Günzlein GER, are tied leading the tour. It could come to an important preliminary decision on the way to the title of the European Champion.

The Euro Cup Windsurfing Slalom & Formula starts on August 16 th and will provide action on the water until the end of the week. The Slalom is open for all windsurfers. Like this all water sport fans are animated to compete on this simple form of competition. All those who are able to surf around two buoys are welcome to participate. The world's best windsurfers, who are collecting points for the overall ranking will compete as well. The world's fastest Windsurfer, Finian Maynard from the Virgin Islands – holding the speed record with 91km/h – will participate as well as the world champion Allison Shreeve AUS.

On August 19 th the legendary Engadin Surf Marathon will be a part of the program for the 29 th time in a row. It shall be 100% fun for all the surfers participating at the longest and highest set surf regatta worldwide. Meanwhile the attractive course can be watched by the crowd from the shore of the Lake Silvaplana . The Marathon is a classic discipline among the windsurfers and will celebrate its 30 th anniversary next year.

As usual, the party highlight will be the Stimorol Engadinwind Party taking place on August 19 th on the top of Mount Corvatsch , only reachable by cable car. DJ's and special acts will make this party night unforgettable, partying all night long with the stars of the windsurfing world.
