Maui has been epic in January but this month has been untypical - plenty of rain and barely ever any trade winds - a stubborn low pressure system has been sitting around forever - at least we got a little bit of swell last week...)

March has been ok so far, already sailed 10 days - Hookipa for the last few days. Small swell, crowds and strong gusty trades. Hopefully some more waves by tomorrow! Hard to capture photos when working and sailing daily...

Today is finally the first day without wind! Maui has been going off, waves and wind (untypical for winter)- photos are from one of those days with small waves at Ho'okipa. Photo courtesy of Dan Rayburn.

Ich hatte das Vergnügen vor kurzer zeit Maui mal wieder heimzusuchen... Ich flog im späten Oktober hin zum Windsurfen aber auch um meine Maui Foto-gallerie aufzufrischen. In den 4 wochen die ich dort verbrachte konnte ich 3 Woc...)
